Academic project for Assessment:
Make a Pencil Holder inspired by the Michael Graves design
I wanted to emphasise the childish looking of the designs
Below the moodboard of Michael Graves
For this assessment we had to make 3 render drawings of potential pencil holder
The Pencil Case was my favorite so I choose for model making
I start making the model on Solidworks
Simple 3D model of the pencil holder:
I tried different types of size for the pencil holder, by 3D printing was very useful.
Here my refined model, the colours aren't representative of the final render (Like on the first image), because of time limit and it was hard to find the actual colours on spray paint.
The render was made on Keyshot 11
